This laboratory uses electrophysiology, molecular biology, and behavioural experimental techniques to study the mechanism of cortical plasticity regulation in adulthood and improve advanced cognitive function through it. We are also conducting research on the mechanism of pathological pain induction in primary sensory neurons. We are studying cortical plasticity and mechanisms of chronic pain using experimental methods such as 1. single cell patch clamp method, 2. brain slice patch clamp method, 3. In vivo field recording, 4. real time calcium imaging,  5. optogenetics and 6. head fixed texture discrimination behavioural test.
